“Bins are empty containers of consumed energy. Discarded residues, stagnated energies, that don’t transform themselves, don’t recover their initial potential. We could think of rubbish in terms of information and entropy. Paradoxically rubbish is redundancy, but it’s also informative to the extent of its improbability, like plastic inside the waters’ living beings, in birds’ beaks. It’s information that disturbs and threatens us with its absent presence. We don’t consume nature, but rather its industrialized subproducts.”
