Legal Notice on Organisational Form

The Goethe-Institut e. V. is an organisation operating worldwide to promote the German language abroad, maintain international cultural collaboration, and provide a comprehensive image of Germany with information about its cultural, societal and political activities.

It functions within the framework of its Articles of Association and on the basis of a framework agreement concluded with the Federal Republic of Germany.

This legal notice also applies for all Goethe-Institut social media presence specific to countries or the Institute, for example, our Facebook pages, our Twitter accounts and our Youtube channel.

Dispute Resolution

The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR) which can be accessed at http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/. Consumers have the possibility to use this platform for resolving their disputes. We are ready to participate in an extra-judicial dispute settlement procedure before a consumer dispute resolution body. The competent body is Universalschlichtungsstelle des Bundes am Zentrum für Schlichtung e.V., Straßburger Straße 8, 77694 Kehl am Rhein, Deutschland, universalschlichtungsstelle.de.
