Legal Notice on Organisational Form

The Goethe-Institut e. V. is an organisation operating worldwide to promote the German language abroad, maintain international cultural collaboration, and provide a comprehensive image of Germany with information about its cultural, societal and political activities.

It functions within the framework of its Articles of Association and on the basis of a framework agreement concluded with the Federal Republic of Germany.

This legal notice also applies for all Goethe-Institut social media presence specific to countries or the Institute, for example, our Facebook pages, our Twitter accounts and our Youtube channel.

Dispute Resolution

The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR) which can be accessed at Consumers have the possibility to use this platform for resolving their disputes. We are ready to participate in an extra-judicial dispute settlement procedure before a consumer dispute resolution body.
