A variety of sounds meld into the soundscape of Karachi’s Seaview beach. Taking these sounds as a starting point (wood chimes in this case), Asfandyar Khan’s album examines what happens when this commonality is lost to decay and a rising tide, as they are reduced to little more than a faded, granular snapshot in the collective memory of Karachi.
